The Reception class have been thinking about the signs of Autumn. We collected items from our school grounds and had fun creating an autumn picture.
Year 3 and Year 4 recently visited Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre. We had a great time learning about life in the Stone Age. Thank you to everyone who helped us.
Reception and Year 1 are enjoying our Friday music lessons! We are learning to find the pulse of a song and this week we learnt how to play along with the melody, using a simple scale - C, D, E, F, G. It sounded beautiful!
Our Year 6 class headed off to Arthog last week, and had a fantastic week. We are all looking forward to hearing about their adventures!
Year 4 have been learning about the Stone Age Settlement of Skara Brae. We used Lego to build our own models of stone houses.
Year 1 have been learning all about colour and pattern in art. We were learning about printing techniques and exploring different textures we could make with autumn leaves and natural objects. The sun was finally shining for us to enjoy our lesson outside!
Children in nursery have been having a lovely time settling back in over the last couple of weeks. Lots of fun activities have been keeping them busy!
Y4 have worked so hardlast week and everyone went 'above and beyond' in their work. Miss Kilby, Mrs Beard and Mr Carr were all really proud!

We are so proud of the final piece. All pupils worked hard on their individual part and took time to find the right tint, tone or shade.
