All the children enjoyed the afternoon and made lots of new friends.

At our local Broseley Youth Football club a newly formed under 8s group consists of many of our Year 3 children. They began last winter playing friendly matches, against many well established teams, and all of their matches ended in defeat. All players showed resilience, determination and team spirit to continue training and working hard together. This weekend, they played their first league game against Market Drayton Tigers and won 2-1! All the children came into school beaming with pride from their first win. Well done to all the team and coaches! Here are some of their thoughts following the match:
'It was very exciting because it was our first league match.' Thomas
'I wanted to get the win to make our families proud.' Gabriel
'It was a remarkable achievement.' Emmett
'We finally won our first match. We successfully won!' Jake
'It made me very happy.' Arthur

"I felt shocked because it was the league, I wasn't sure if we could win but we did! I scored both of the goals. I was proud of everyone.' Quinn
