    Published 21/03/25

It is wonderful when our Key Stage 2 pupils want to share activities that they enjoy with younger years.

Some of the year 1 children have been enjoying a break-time dance club, set up and run by 2 of the girls from year 6. The girls have given up their time to plan a routine along with music. Year 1 are really having fun and leave the hall with big smiles. We can't wait to see the finished dance.

  • Year 3 and 4 Girls' Football County Cup Qualifying

    Published 28/02/25

Well done to the girls who represented the school this week. Having qualified earlier in the year, 9 girls from Year 3 and 4 played a total of three seven-a-side matches in Church Stretton. They finished third in the pool, so closely missed out on the play-offs. All of the girls played really well and showed great team work. We look forward to seeing them continue their footballing journey.

  • Primary Dance Festival 2025

    Published 14/02/25

Our fabulous club performed their Disney mash-up dance at William Brookes School on two evenings this week. They have worked so hard in the lead up, learning and practising their routines in after school club. It really shone through in their polished routine. It was lovely to see you all shine on stage!

We especially enjoyed being inspired by all the other dancers as we could watch the other performances through the live stream. We even watched ourselves back!

A huge well done to everyone!

  • Football Tournament

    Published 18/11/24

Last week, we hosted a friendly football event with Broseley C of E School and Much Wenlock Primary School visiting us.

We had a girls and a boys team taking part, representing our school. Both teams did us proud, showing great team spirit and respect.

The girls had an opportunity to put their skills to the test; they have been practising in their lunchtime club, which is run by two of our bronze ambassadors, who have really made an effort to get the team ready to play. The boys put in a fantastic effort and showed some brilliant teamwork and skills, scoring lots of goals between them. We saw an amazing goal from one of our players, scoring with one kick from our goal area straight into the opposition's goal.

It was a really lovely event to be part of. Thank you to all of the visiting staff and children for coming to join us. And to Mr Bourton and Mr Bennett for setting the event up.
