Reception - Jenson for being so kind and showing he has been caring and thoughtful this week.
Year 1 - The child in this class has been trying really hard in our non-fiction writing and doing brilliant reading.
Year 2 - Arthur for doing fabulous reading at home and collecting lots of gems on Go Read.
Year 3 - James for working really hard this week in class.
Year 4 - Eva for marvellous sentence stacking, you have inspired us all with your amazing vocabulary.
Year 5 - Lilah for always working diligently in class and showing enthusiasm for her learning.
Year 6 - Hannah for always listening carefully and working very hard.
Over the last two weeks, the Reception class have been learning about Diwali, the 'festival of lights'. We listened to the story of Rama and Sita and made Diva lamps to guide them home after their long journey. We also made Diwali cards and created pictures using some Rangoli patterns.
Thank you Year Four for your respectful contribution to the Remembrance Day service in the Memorial Gardens on Sunday 14th November.

This half-term Mr Jew has been teaching gymnastics to Y3 and Y4. Pupils have been learning about using different jumps, shapes and balances, working with a partner to create sequences.
Y5 and Y6 have been learning to play Tag Rugby focussing on how to tackle, dodge defenders and pass and receive...
Well done to our Year 5 and Year 6 teams in the primary basketball tournament today. Both teams reached the quarter finals and were selected by the referees to receive the 'Respect' award for their fair play and sportsmanship. Miss Kilby was very proud!
