Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - William has been chosen for trying very hard to sound words out and using his grapheme mat really well. Well done!
Year 1 - Lorna has been chosen for being such a kind-hearted member of year 1 and for her sparkle of creativity in everything that she does! Well done!
Year 2 - Quinn has been chosen for writing a wonderful letter in our English lessons this week; it was set out beautifully. Well done!
Year 3 - Henry has been chosen for his enthusiasm about our learning and retelling lots of stories this week. Well done!

Thomas has been chosen for making improvements in editing and improving his work. Well done!

Thomas has been chosen for his fantastic effort and determination spelling some tricky words this week in spelling lessons! Well done!

Year 4 - Robyn has been chosen for working hard to improve in her home reading this term. Well done!
Year 5 - A child in Year 5 has been chosen for his positive attitude to sharing their ideas. They think carefully about their learning and always have an idea worth listening to. Well done!
Year 6 - James and Isabelle have been chosen for being such fantastic learning partners for one another; showing patience, kindness and encouragement through all lessons. Well done!

Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

Well done to our Mini Medics Group 1, who have all been ready to learn in their After School Club for the last 5 weeks. They have all learnt some fantastic First Aid skills and demonstrated that they are ready to apply those skills if needed.

Seed Planting in Reception

The Reception class have been busy this week planting seeds in our garden. They planted lettuce seeds and peas. We have also been working on 'time'. The children helped to create an obstacle course and timed each other completing it.

Staff Award

Lucy has been nominated by children in Reception class for helping lots of classes and always being so smiley!
